All the staff was really friendly and helpful. There were some difficulties with my insurance and ordering my contacts but the staff was really helpful and able to address it. My doctor, Dr. He, was wonderful! I have never had an eye doctor explain so much to me. She was very thorough, patient, and gave me so much time. She was concerned I may have a condition with my eyes and she took a lot of time to fully explain the condition and next steps. She provided excellent care.

I wish I had found them sooner! I have been living in Sierra Madre for several years and did not know such an excellent optometry office was steps away. The entire staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It is actually relaxing to get an eye exam here - I did not feel rushed, and everything done was explained clearly. I adore Lumen. My partner lives in Sierra Madre and I came upon them on a walk and made an appointment. I am so glad that I did. Everyone was so helpful and made sure that the glasses I were fitting and measured correctly. The optometrist was lovely, and I love the staff. I live on the Westside of LA and took the 1.5 hour drive to make my appointment. It’s wildly worth it. Great selection of frames and they take my VSP insurance. Love them.
